Hello everyone! I just starting publishing my work hoping that it would help my husband and I raise money for medical expenses! We are realizing that starting a family is going to be very different from what we originally anticipated. I know that the Lord is going to be faithful (He ALWAYS is) to help provide the funding we need in order to go forward with building our family. I am thankful for all of the support that friends and family have given us. Thank you for taking time to visit my blog! Please contact me with questions, projects, or if you want to purchase any of my projects at refinishedfurnishings@gmail.com

Chest of Drawers

This is going to be my last post for the evening. This is a 4 drawer dresser that I found and painted to match the pieces in our bedroom.

Twin Bed Frame

The before pictures of this headboard and foot board makes me laugh... My sister LOVED putting stickers all over her bed! I had to do some heavy sanding on these pieces. I do think it is one of the most adorable beds out there if I say so myself!

I didn't have any pictures of the bed frame alone, so here is one with some of the other pieces of furniture (also posted in the blog) in the same room. Now we are just waiting to get a twin mattress to complete the bed. My mom and I are actually looking for the second bed frame this week (my sister and I had the same beds growing up).

Desk/Vanity

This was the desk that I used when I was growing up. Isn't it charming? I can see this piece being used as a desk or as a vanity! I was so excited because today I actually found a huge box of all of my "childhood treasures" that my mom had stored for me in my dad's barn! I was so excited because I have lived the past few years coming to terms that all of my "treasures" were thrown away :~) I can't wait to go through it all! (My husband isn't excited about me having more junk at our house...).

I had extra help sanding this piece down. I also primed this piece before I painted it.

I do love this desk!

6 Drawer Dresser

This dresser has been through a lot of life! Let's just say I did a lot of extra work on this beauty by sanding and refinishing some areas... I used French Linen and Old White with a dark wax finish. I love the way these colors look together!

French Linen and Old White

Chest of Drawers (5)

This is another one of my absolute favorites! I have been tempted to sell this but I love the way it looks in our house... Maybe I will be able to part with it one of these days. It is re-finished in Old White with a clear wax finish.

Tall Boy Dresser

I searched FOREVER on Craigslist until I was able to find this unique piece of furniture to match the pieces we already have in our bedroom. I really like this piece (and so does my hubby which is an added bonus). I tried to pick more gender neutral colors to use in our bedroom... so we settled on French Linen and Old White with a distressed dark wax finish...I typically don't prime the furniture because I don't need to when I use Chalk Paint, however I like how the white shows through after light distressing.

Antique Chair

I grew up using this sweet little chair at my desk in my room growing up. It has gone through a lot of face lifts throughout the decades! I had a great time unveiling all of the fabrics used for seat coverings. I am loving the current facelift - chevron!

Nightstand in Old White

This is a beautiful nightstand that I re-finished in Old White chalk paint with a clear wax finish. I absolutely love this! I have a few before and after pictures of this piece!  It would go great in any little girls room!!! I'm pretty proud of these cuties!

Nighstand

I don't have the best quality camera... but here is a beautiful vintage nightstand (I forgot to take a before picture of the piece) re-finished in French Linen and Old White with a distressed/dark wax finish. I was very excited to be able to sell this piece last week! I hope to continue to sell beautifully re-finished pieces just like these.
